SME POS - INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

Inventory management (SME POS) is a system developed to managing records of inventory aimed for Small Medium Enterprise business, sales and purchase using automation of system and calculation involve records of sales and record of stock movement. Furthermore, improvement required to enhance existing system to be compatible to current situations and unsolved problems that resulting poor management for SME organizations to achieve their goals. For instance, SME POS Inventory Management System functions to alert to sellers to order stocks of bestselling, exhausted, reduced to ensure stocks are always up-to-date based on the FIFO concept - stocks that have expired will undergo appraisal process whether dumped, recycled, etc. Other than that, the system will calculate the amount of stock that is in the seller's inventory and seller can determine the amount of the product to alert for additional of the product.and supplier or vendor can send quotation directly according to the number of products that the seller wants to buy and sellers can compare which vendors offer a reasonable price. Moreover, it will also issue product statistics that are often bought by the seller to ensure that the supplier or vendor can meet the seller's needs and know directly the sales planning. On behalf of the seller, they can analyse statistics of the bestselling products and see the graphs increase or decrease of products taken from suppliers so that they can product sales to reduce expenses and the problem of excess stocks or lack of stocks. After that, commercialization potential of this system targeted among Malaysia SME business that can use through web-based system successfully and also potential of systems to be integrated into mobile applications to be more responsive and flexible to rise up market value of system.
