ROOM ALLOCATION SYSTEM

Facilities management is one of the important issues among organization. Task such as room allocation, booking for events, and equipment management are among the problem faced by the organization. Nowadays, organizations started to shift from manual based management into the application system to manage their department. For the purpose of the study, an application system was developed that to allow every stakeholder to choose their room or hostel for student. The problem statements to build this application system is first, time consuming to finding their room, second is the difficulties to locate a room by stakeholder, and another problem is student mostly cannot find or recognized lecturer room. The objectives of setting up the application system is to speed up the process of finding room, easy application the book a new room, and easy to retrieve the lecturer room information or student hostel. The uniqueness of the application system is systematic and can be prevent from double allocation room provided, mostly by manual. Commercialization potentials is focusing on institution department, any government and company.

Modern living life-style has become one of the main concerns for the urban communities. Nowadays, people love to buy a goods or things especially for celebrating Eid or anything else that make the space are not enough for the new goods. Therefore, the ExtraStorage System was developed in order to help people or user to keep their things at the outside storage. These systems tend to help user in term of storing also monitoring the security of their things just by one click. Basically, people have many problems in order to store their things at the right place and need to monitor it every day. In the technology that increasingly sophisticated, it also helps to know the important of managing the system directly even though we are at anywhere and anytime. Besides that, the knowledge about the extra storage also will be aware by any related issues that are happen nowadays. The objective of the system is to create and provide a systematic management of storage spaces.

ASKYB SYSTEM

Community engagement is one of the major issues faced by the communities. Every 4 to 5 years a representative of the community (known as “Yang Berhormat” or YB) will selected through a general election. The selected YB will be responsible for managing their parliament or districts. However, lack of communication and platform for communication between the communities and their representative undermine the level of community engagement. Thus, AskYB system is proposed whereby the system can help people to share their problem and also share their opinion with any YB based on their problem in one stop centre. Other than that, objective of the system is to provide the best communication platform that people can directly communicate. Next, the uniqueness of the AskYB system is all the people can choose to communicate with any YB that they want to ask. In addition, AskYB system is one of the systems that YB can communicate and comment directly to the community and try to take action to their problems. In Malaysia, the system can be commercialize globally to be used because there a lot problems between community and YB that needs a solution and the best platform without them wasting too much time in directly to communicate with YB in one stop centre system.

MyUniversity MarketPlace is a system that will help all university’s community in Malaysia as a special platform for them to in order to make online business, to create an alumni networking and electronic store. There are a few issues that contribute in order to develop this system, which is the university’s community did not have their own platform in doing e-commerce, students hard to buy the event or workshop tickets. Normally students will face the difficulties in purchasing the events tickets, they need to purchase by walk-in that can wasting their time. Furthermore this system also will help all university connecting with others universities that are available in Malaysia, which means they can do a joint ventures or cooperation in doing a programs or something that can make a networking with the alumni, staffs and students itself. MyUniversity MarketPlace has its own uniqueness, which is this system special develop for the university community in Malaysia only. Therefore, the objective of this system, act as a platform to make online business system for university staff, students and alumni to bring them to another stage of e-commerce with more better. This system will be ready to be commercialized to all community in the university. The advancement of the system will give more advantages and good impact for the university and the community itself and this system provide users with a friendly user interface so it will be easy for everyone to use it.
