A postgraduate is a student who has successfully completed an undergraduate degree level course at a college or university and is undertaking further study at a more advanced level. According to research , Dr Lee conclude that a postgraduate studies work closely with industry partners to gain insight, which will allow student to develop the courses better for a good mix of academic and industrial exposure. However, one of the problems is that gave rise to this system from the continuous use of manual methods of dispensing academic details in the institution such as the uses of  Postgraduate Research Student Log Book. Therefore, PMS will develop tools to manage sharing information and interaction as well as creating a transparent environment between student and supervisor. The objectives of PMS are to minimize the time taken for approval process and provide timely and efficient tools for approval. The uniqueness of PMS is to record and scan the progress of student, from the commencement of research until completion of thesis. Besides , PMS system provide an interface to student upload the thesis and research project through electronically. Then , PMS also will monitor the performance and progress for GOT (Graduate on time ) status.The existence of PMS gives development of study and postgraduate supervisory team to assess the progress the commercialization potentials of PMS are to support universities, postgraduate, lecturers, and supervisor.
