e-Clinic Management

Nowadays, most of the clinics in Malaysia are still using the paper-based medical cards that are records about the patient information. Usually their traditional method is used in the small clinic for example in village area. The problem of manual system is there are many redundancies the records of their patient have been created. It because there are many of the patient records in their records room so that the clinic might be miss placing the patient records. However, the manual systems also make their work not an efficient. To overcome this problem, the E-clinic management system are created to help the clinic in managing the records patient and improve their service. The E-clinic management is a system that created to facilitate the process of transferring information and records of their patient. This system will be easier to the doctor and the nurses to manage the service, make their work be efficient and will help to improve their services performance be better. This system is created to simpler the communication between the doctor and nurse. This system will kept all the information about their patient in the database. This system will use the computer technology for medical service and in managing the patient information with more systematic and more secured. The user of this system is only the doctor and nurse. This system will be operate by two type of user which is the doctor and the nurses. Once the patient are register in the clinic as a patient, nurses will collect and register the detail information about their patient in this system and give the ID to the patient records. The doctor also can view the patient detail information and after the checking up of the patient, doctor can recommended the medicine to the patient and send the database in the system.

Event System Management

Event System Management (ESM) is a system that provides information of the event that will be held in the UiTM to all UiTM students for them to get the details of information about the event quickly and accurately. Through this system it will be provide the information of activities or event to students such as date, time, venue, title of the programmed and information. Other than that, by creating this system, students can become more aware for the upcoming events and activities in the UiTM. Therefore, the main problem that make researcher want to create this system because students nowadays are too lazy and didn’t aware about the incoming messages about the event through the whatSapp group. In this case, students also might ignore about the message of that event. So, by this system it becomes more convenience to the students for them to read or get the information about the event. Hence, researcher thinks that this system is important because it can evade students from not knowing about the activity that will be held. For this system, student just only need to register and all the information about the event will be provided through that account. Lastly, researcher hope that this system will be continued and succeed to produce

e-Giling

In Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Machang Campus, the university provided the school bus or well-known as “tenggiling” for the students to go to their classes or to other destinations. The students that staying in the college or outside the UiTM can used the tenggiling services as the driver will pick up the students to go to the class and send them home after the class ended. However, during the night when the students have some events in the UiTM, it is really difficult for the students to contact the tenggiling’s driver who on duties during night to pick up them as they did not know the specific timetables of the tenggiling that duty during the night. Due that, there were many students especially female students waited for the tenggiling until late night. It is very dangerous for the students’ safety although they were in the UiTM area. Moreover, the students also will face another difficulty when it comes to celebration day especially Hari Raya Aidilfitri, where all students will go back home for break. The students that want to go to the bus station need to book the tenggiling early for the driver sending them to the bus station. Therefore, a structured system needs to be developed and the system name is E-Giling. E-Giling is a system that provides details information about the tenggiling’s driver such as the name, contact number and booking status, and the duties timetable of tenggiling. Besides that, this system also provide the security for the UiTM students, which they need to login to the system by using their matric numbers when riding the tenggiling so that, the system can collect the data which tenggiling and when the students ride the tenggiling. If anything bad happened to the students during riding the tenggiling, the students can used the system as evident that they ride the tenggiling and it can be proved through the data collected by the system as the student login to the system. This system can be used by the students and also the tenggiling drivers. The tenggiling driver can use this system to know their booking status and to know how many students had ride their tenggiling, while the students can use the system to book the tenggiling for their own purposes

UiTM Catering Services (eCRS)

Catering is the business handled by the caterers that providing food and beverages services for some events. UiTM eCrs is developed to help the UiTM caterers to manage their business and ease the process for ordering by changing the manual order process into an electronic form. As there is so many students club in UiTM Machang, numerous events are held in a week, hence the demand for catering services remain necessary for that purposes. However, as the caterers are handling all of the orders processed in a manual way, the problems such the records went missing, destroy, and hard to retrieve when it is needed are always occur. Moreover, it is really time-consuming to successfully place the order and the miscommunication between the caterers and customers also occur, and it is required for technological interferences in order to improve the quality and services of the caterers, as well as to maintain the good reputation of the UiTM caterers. Thus, UiTM eCrs prioritize to change the caterer’s works of process so it can be done more efficient and effective as well as to reduce all of the problems concerned. UiTM eCrs supported by many requirements and designed as user-friendly which the customers can simply use the system, log into the system, view’s and select the caterers, select the menu, fill up the order form and proceed to the payment. Hence, UiTM eCrs can save a lot of time and costs in managing paper document, and the records can be retrieved more accurately. This proves that the electronic database is more leads to efficiency and systematic compared to a paper document, plus it is applicable at any time
